2007 LADY BUSTER SEASON WRAP UP

The 2007 season saw the Lady Busters soccer program continuing to move in a positive direction. For the third straight season, the Lady Busters competed in the Region 6 playoffs. The first season of competition back in 2005 saw the Lady Busters finish in the bottom third of the region. The 2007 season saw the Lady Busters finish in the middle third of the region. With the key component of depth being an issue during the Fall 2007 season, the Lady Busters lost three games by a single goal while losing another five when they were either leading or tied at halftime. Coach Huffman will be looking to bring in a strong recruiting class to compliment his many returners, as the program continues to march towards being a team that finishes in the top third of the region on a consistent basis. The season highlight would be the Lady Busters come from behind 3-2 overtime thriller over Allen County Community College, where the Lady Busters came back to win through a driving rain storm.
