LADY BUSTERS SIGN ROSE HILL PRODUCT

Looking to pair up All Region performer Jackie Cojon with another solid midfielder, Head Women's Soccer Coach Jeff Huffman is pleased to announce the signing of in-state player Lindsay Smith of Rose Hill, KS.

Lindsay has been a starter since her freshman year at Rose Hill High School , missing her junior season due to injury. Lindsay played her U-16 and U-17 club soccer with Wichita based Botofogo, while playing this season at the U-18 age level for the Air Capital Explosion out of Wichita .

“Lindsay's signing fills an immediate need for a quality midfielder in our program,” Coach Huffman states. “ I saw Lindsay compete at the Tulsa Showcase in November and made the journey to Wichita to see her compete at an indoor soccer game in January. Lindsay is tough in tackle, has that ability to shred a defense with one pass and will be a    tall target for us on set pieces. Our program immediately improves with her signing.”
