Hamilton was a four year starter at Pomona High School in Arvada, CO. In 2004-2005 she received Honorable Mention All conference and Defensive Player of the Year. In 2005-2006 she was 2nd Team All Conference and received the Clutch Hitter Award. In 2006-2007 she was named All State and Defensive Player of the Year.
