Assistant
Coach Clete Scheer gerw up in a small Nebraska town, Elsmere, where
he attended high school at Dunning H.S. Coach Scheer competed in
football, wrestling, and rodeo. In rodeo, he qualified for
state all four years. He also excelled in wrestling, where he placed
three times at state.
After
high school, Coach Scheer received a rodeo scholarship to
attend Oklahoma Panhandle State University. After graduating,
he served as an assistant coach.
Coach
Scheer is also active in church and rodeo bible studies. Other
activities that he enjoys are horse shoeing, training colts and
hunting.
This
is Coach Scheer's first season at Garden City Community College.
Coach Hash is very excited to have him on board this season.
